Made with Hovis® Farmhouse Batch

Preparation time: 10 mins

Cook time: 10-15 mins

Serves 2 people

Ingredients

  • Leftover Hovis Farmhouse Batch
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 head of Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • Crispy chicken goujons, cooked and sliced
  • Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • Caesar salad dressing

Tip

For the crunchiest results, don't crowd the baking tray! Spread the bread cubes out in a single layer with plenty of space between them. This allows the hot air to circulate, ensuring they crisp up evenly rather than steaming.

Method

1

Take your leftover bread from the freezer and allow it to defrost completely at room temperature.

2

Cut the bread into bite-sized cubes. Place them in a bowl and coat thoroughly with a drizzle of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and a generous dusting of garlic powder. Toss until every cube is well-seasoned.
