Human Rights Policy

Hovis is a well-known household brand having over 130 years in the baking and milling industry. We are proud of our heritage and our reputation and are committed to putting Hovis goodness at the heart of every day. We recognise that, to achieve this, we must adhere to the highest possible standards in everything we do, including respecting human rights and ensuring that all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.

Our Human Rights Policy sets out our commitment and the steps we take to meet our responsibility to respect internationally recognised human rights standards. It is guided by the International Bill of Human Rights and the principles concerning fundamental rights set out in the International Labour Organisation’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. It provides the basis for embedding responsibility to respect human rights throughout all of our business functions and applies not only to Hovis, but also to its parent and subsidiary companies, employees, contractors, suppliers, agents and any other third party working with us.
