Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Hovis Seeded Sourdough
  • 1 small garlic clove (cut in half)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 150g burrata, 3-4 ripe vine tomatoes (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 sprigs fresh basil (leaves picked)

Tip

Use room-temperature burrata and ripe tomatoes for the best flavour — cold ingredients can dull their taste. For an extra touch, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt flakes just before serving to enhance the creaminess and sweetness.

Method

1

Lightly toast the Hovis Seeded Sourdough and rub the cut side of a garlic clove over one side of each piece of warm toast.
