Sweet, spicy, and full of crunch, this Asian-inspired sub layers sticky soy-glazed pork mince with a cucumber and carrot slaw, all served in a soft Hovis Buttermilk Sub Roll. Finished with a swipe of mayo, it’s a bold, vibrant bite that balances heat, freshness, and umami in every mouthful.

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the pork mince until fully browned and cooked through.
Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, and sriracha to the pork. Cook for a few more minutes until the mixture becomes slightly sticky and caramelised.
While the pork is cooking, combine the cucumber, carrot, coriander, mint, and lime juice in a bowl. Mix well to create the Asian slaw.
Slice the Hovis® Buttermilk Sub Roll in half lengthways. Spread the mayonnaise on the bottom half.
Layer the cooked pork mince on top of the mayo, then add a generous helping of the Asian slaw. Close the sandwich and serve immediately.
