In a small bowl, mix the icing sugar with a splash of water to create a smooth glacé icing. It should be the consistency of double cream, thick but pourable.
Slice the Hovis® Buttermilk Sub Roll in half lengthways. Spread the clotted cream evenly over the bottom half of the roll.
