Ingredients

  • 1 Hovis® Buttermilk Sub Roll
  • 3 Strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp Clotted cream
  • 2 tbsp Icing sugar
  • Splash of water (for glacé icing)

Tip

For a classic sandwich, simply add the top half of the sub roll and enjoy!

Method

In a small bowl, mix the icing sugar with a splash of water to create a smooth glacé icing. It should be the consistency of double cream, thick but pourable.

Slice the Hovis® Buttermilk Sub Roll in half lengthways. Spread the clotted cream evenly over the bottom half of the roll.
