Important Update

Associated British Foods (ABF) today announced it has reached an agreement to acquire Hovis Group Ltd from its current owners, Endless LLP for an undisclosed sum. The proposed transaction is subject to regulatory review by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

The proposed acquisition marks a significant step towards creating a more sustainable and efficient bakery operation in the UK, delivering great products for customers in a very challenging market.

The CMA approval is anticipated to take some time. Until regulatory clearance is granted, Hovis Group Ltd and Allied Bakeries (part of ABF) will continue to operate as separate entities.
