Just take...
  • 4 Slices of Hovis Granary® Small Loaf
  • 2 tablespoons of Light Mayonnaise
  • 250g halloumi, thickly sliced
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 1 Romaine lettuce, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced

Heat a griddle pan until very hot and add the halloumi slices, cooking for one minute on each side before turning, making sure they have dark charred lines.

To build the sandwich, spread each slice of bread with mayonnaise, and then top with halloumi followed by the sliced tomato, lettuce, onion and pepper. Place the final slice of bread on top and cut in half. Serve immediately.
