Robert Wilson opened the original Ormeau Bakery in Belfast in 1875 with the simple idea of baking the highest quality products. That ethos remains to this day at the Hovis® Bakery in Belfast, where Ormo® is still baked to the same exacting standards.
Not just bread but pancakes, Potato Farls, Soda Farls, rolls, wheaten bread, muffins and Fruit Loaf. In 2018, Ormo® partnered with two other local and much-loved food companies to make a new premium range of Ormo® products: With Mash Direct, we developed Mash & Champ potato farls; and with Ballyrashane Creameries, we’re baking Ormo® Buttermilk Wheaten Bread. Both, perfect examples of the delicious quality products that Ormo® bakes.
