Sticky Figs on Toast Recipe

What you need

 

2 slices medium-sliced Hovis Wholemeal bread

2 fresh figs

1 tsp Gale’s honey

Sprinkling of ground cinnamon

1 tbsp low fat greek yogurt

How to make it

 

1. Cut a deep cross in the top of each fig then ease the top open then place the figs on a small baking tray.

2. Drizzle the honey over the figs, then sprinkle with the cinnamon. 

3. Grill for 5 minutes on a moderate heat until figs are softened and then divide between 2 slices of toast.

4. Serve warm with low fat greek yogurt.
