Serves 1
What you need

2 slices medium-sliced Hovis Wholemeal bread

1 sardine in brine, drained

1 medium tomato, sliced

Dash of balsamic vinegar

How to make it
1. Lightly toast 2 slices of Hovis Wholemeal bread and meanwhile mash the sardine then spread over the toast.
 
2. Arrange the sliced tomato on top of the sardines and then return to a hot grill for about a minute until the tomatoes are warmed.
 
3. To finish serve with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
