Mushroom and Cream Cheese Toasty
Recipe
We have put together 6 lunch recipes that are healthy, nutritious and tasty.
Serves 1
What you need
2 slices medium-sliced Hovis Wholemeal bread
30g low fat cream cheese
6 small button mushrooms, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, sliced
Black pepper
How to make it
1. Place the cream cheese and chopped mushroom in a small bowl and mix together until combined. Season with black pepper.
2. Meanwhile toast the bread under a hot grill.
3. Place the sliced tomatoes on one slice of bread then top with the cream cheese mixture and place under a hot grill for about 2 minutes until the cream cheese mixture is bubbling.
4. To complete the toasty, place the second slice of bread on top and cut in half.
